Encaustics

Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, is a mixed media technique. It involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. The coloured wax is then applied to a surface—prepared wood. There is a broad range of colours, and techniques that contribute to our finished pieces. All encaustic pieces can be framed with black, white or natural coloured floating frames.
